Reversing the traditional bedrooms upstairs, living room downstairs layout in these 400 sq.ft. houses produces several advantages. The living/dining space with its high ceiling and skylights, seems large and airy. The downstairs bedroom enjoys the view and access to the garden. Accommodating a growing family is facilitated by adding bedrooms to the ground floor ? a less costly and more flexible means of expansion in the cases where property permits.
